cute kids clothes

I found this new book, making children's clothing by emma hardy at the library today. Very excited as there are lots of gorgeous clothes to make for kids. Simple instructions and patterns included, including one for a sun hat which I have wanted to get my hands on to make for miss poppet who is growing so fast. I might have to add this book to my K.K list. now to find an extra hour in the day and i can attempt to make some of the cute clothes!

little boy blue...

I'm very excited, two little boy bundles were born into the world yesterday from parents very dear to us. One named Stephen the other named Oliver. So cute I can not wait to meet them, both mum's are doing wonderfully. Big hugs from us xox

i have always loved fairy tales and with the re-living of my childhood through my bubba i have been reminded just how much. she's too young to even sit through a telling of them but that doesn't stop me buying her lots of books and adding my childhood books to her ever growing collection. at the moment i'm smitten particularly with the tale of red riding hood. so here a just a few red items that have caught my eye on etsy.
