happy mail exchange

like most people i love nice mail. to open the letter box and see a little parcel just for me gives me a thrill of excitement. a nice needed change from the dread feeling accompanied with the mean bill variety. chantelle over at fat mum slim is hosting a happy mail exchange. you will be allocated another participant to send a bundle of surprises, gifts and joy. pop over and register cos' the more the merrier!

i forgot how exciting it is to receive a letter in the mail that isn't demanding you pay $200 for services you take for granted and forget you need to pay for. so yesterday afternoon when i arrived home from work it was so lovely to see a new little zine (thaw) just for me to peruse over a glass of wine once the little poppet was snug in bed.

i now want to plan two day trips one to ballarat to see some of the wonderful places mentioned in the mag and to daylesford to check out the new lark shop. so much to do so little time.
