handmade christmas challenge

do you remember when flower pressing was all the go? i used luv it. i have been all inspired to give it another go. retrieve the old flower press hopefully somewhere in my mums cupboards and try my hand at making handmade xmas cards such as the likes of this gorgeous deer one from studio flower power. well mine will look nothing like this beautiful one above however i love the idea of using pressed flowers for creating pretty pictures. i'm off to raid some gardens!

flea market finds

this table cloth is one of my favourite flea market finds of the week i can not wait to cut it all up and use these beautiful flowers for a more pretty and comfy use. the centre flower is my fave and matches my lounge room colours perfectly.

however the piece de resistance flea market find of the week wasnt actually my find but jades.

this beautiful dolls house which is the newest addition to my projects list, was found by the fabulous jade from holigoddess. she knew i was looking for one for miss poppet and her gorgeous nina has one already so she quickly snapped it up for me for a sweet $10. i am over the moon she's such a sweetheart for thinking of us. i now have a beautiful old school dolls house of my poppets very own.

is a complete jumble i have projects going left, right and center with another on the way. (will fill you in later when it arrives).

 i'm finalising my fairytale swap goodies to send off in the next few days.

& am trying to decide what colour to paint my chair? (last colour 'taste tested' by miss poppet!)

is the bag in the previous post. i have had this brewing in my wish to make list for awhile, so very pleased i've completed it. now i'm working on things for an upcoming stall at the handmade show, my very first stall its all very exciting. check out lots of lovely creative spaces over with kirsty at kootoyoo

little breather

one assignment down one more to go but in the meantime some projects cut and waiting to be finished to help keep me sane. some hey dee ho's for the upcoming market and an initial cushion for my friend whose baby is due in 2 weeks.
